The airfield Apolo ( Aeropuerto de Apolo ; ICAO code : SLAP , IATA airport code : APB ) is the airport of the city of Apolo in the lowlands of the department of La Paz in Bolivia .

The airfield was inoperable for years because the terminal buildings were never completed. The completion of the airfield between 2015 and 2017 cost 44.3 million Bolivianos. A new runway with a length of 1500 m and the terminal building were built. The airfield was officially inaugurated on July 31, 2018.

It is planned to offer flights to and from La Paz / El Alto and thus promote the regional economy and tourism. The proximity to the Madidi National Park in particular is seen as an opportunity.

The airport control can be reached on the frequency 118.900 MHz . There is a non-directional radio beacon at the airfield (approach NDB) with the identifier APB and the frequency 240 kHz.
