The airfield Whalsay ( IATA code : WHS , ICAO code : EGEH ) is an airfield in the village Skaw at the northern end of the island Whalsay in Shetland , in the north of Scotland . It only has a gravel runway and there are no other facilities. The runway is not completely flat, there is a large hump roughly in the middle. The airfield is only available for charter flights. At the north end of the runway is the Whalsay Golf Club, the 18-hole golf course is the northernmost golf course in Great Britain.
