South of Hell is an American Mystery - Horror - television series that the transmitter tv WE aired. The directors of individual episodes of the series devised by Matt Lambert were genre greats such as Ti West , Rachel Talalay , Jennifer Lynch , Jeremiah Chechik and Eli Roth , the latter also acting as executive producer of the series.

Maria Abascal is a bounty hunter who specializes in the exorcism of demons, but shares the fate of the possessed because she herself carries a demon named Abigail. Together with her brother David, she seeks out other possessed people in order to free them from their spirits, whereby her own demon, appropriately enough, feeds on the evil that Mary sucks from her customers.
