Chermisey is a municipality located at 430 meters above sea level in the French department of Vosges in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ). It belongs to the canton of Neufchâteau in the arrondissement of the same name . It is bordered to the north by Vaudeville-le-Haut , to the northeast by Seraumont , to the east by Sionne , to the south by Midrevaux and to the west by Avranville .

Attractions
- Stone building material from Chermisey was used for the Montbras Castle .
- The Gondrecourt - Neufchâteau section of the Nançois-Tronville – Neufchâteau line was previously in operation. The now disused local stop is called Garage du Faîte de Chermisey .
