Escles is a commune in the Vosges department of the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ) in France . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Neufchâteau and the Canton of Darney .
geography
The municipality with 436 inhabitants (January 1, 2017) is located in the south of Lorraine, about 20 kilometers south-east of Vittel . The Madon , which rises in the area of the neighboring municipality of Vioménil to the south, flows through Escles .
