It belongs to the canton of Neufchâteau in the arrondissement of the same name . It borders on Midrevaux in the north-west, Sionne in the north, Frebécourt in the north-east, Neufchâteau in the east, Fréville in the south, Liffol-le-Grand in the south-west and Pargny-sous-Mureau in the west .
