Darney-aux-Chênes is a commune in the French department of Vosges in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ). It belonged to the canton of Châtenois in the Arrondissement of Neufchâteau . The reorganization of the French cantons in 2015 made it the canton of Mirecourt . It borders Châtenois to the north, Longchamp-sous-Châtenois to the east, Sandaucourt to the southeast, Ollainville to the south and Rouvres-la-Chétive to the west . The residents call themselves Darnéens.
