Ollainville is a French commune with 67 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Vosges department in the Grand Est region (until 2015: Lorraine ). The municipality is part of the Neufchâteau arrondissement and the Ouest Vosgien municipal association founded in 2017 . The inhabitants are called Ollainvillois .

The municipality of Ollainville is about halfway between the towns of Neufchâteau and Vittel . Ollainville is surrounded by the neighboring communities Darney-aux-Chênes in the north, Sandaucourt in the east, Hagnéville-et-Roncourt in the south, Aulnois in the south-west and Landaville and Rouvres-la-Chétive in the north-west. In the west of the municipality, the Colline Saint-Hilaire rises spur-like about 90 meters above the surroundings from the flat, undulating agricultural terrain . Economy and Infrastructure

The D16 trunk road from Aulnois to Châtenois runs through Ollainville . The Autoroute A31 runs five kilometers east of Ollainville. The railway line from Neufchâteau to Gironcourt-sur-Vraine (originally to Épinal ) runs through the municipality of Ollainville . Passenger traffic was shut down in 1989, the remaining freight traffic on the 27-kilometer section from Neufchâteau to Gironcourt glassworks is operated by SNCF .
