Saint-Julien is about 25 kilometers south of Vittel . The Saône borders the municipality to the east. Saint-Julien is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Tignécourt in the north, Bleurville in the northeast, Monthureux-sur-Saône in the east, Godoncourt in the southeast, Les Thons in the south, Fouchécourt in the southwest and Isches in the west.
