Domjulien is a commune in the French department of Vosges in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ). It belongs to the canton of Vittel and the arrondissement of Neufchâteau . It borders on Gemmelaincourt to the north-west, Viviers-lès-Offroicourt to the north-east, Estrennes to the east, Remoncourt and La Neuveville-sous-Montfort to the south-east, They-sous-Montfort to the south-west and Parey-sous-Montfort to the west .

In the municipality of Domjulien there is the source of the Vraine river , which rises from the ground at the foot of the Montfort hill in the Lodot forest . Located at around 375 meters above sea level, the village is surrounded by hills and mirabelle groves. The river Val d'Arol crosses the Girovillers sous Montfort suburb.
