Viviers-lès-Offroicourt is surrounded by the neighboring communities Offroicourt in the northeast, Estrennes in the southeast, Domjulien in the southwest and Gemmelaincourt in the northwest. The striking hill of the 364 m high Haut de Beaumont rises up between Viviers and the neighboring municipality of Offroicourt, the slopes of which are covered with vines and fruit trees.
The small community has retained its rural character. Even the mayor's office ( Mairie ) is almost wedged between a cattle shed and a shelter for agricultural equipment.
The population of the small community has remained at a very low level since the end of the 20th century. In 1846 there were still 259 residents.
