Viviers-lès-Offroicourt is a French commune with 36 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Vosges department in the Grand Est region (until 2015: Lorraine ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement Neufchâteau and the municipality association Terre d'Eau .
geography
Viviers-lès-Offroicourt is located between the small towns of Mirecourt and Vittel on the Madon tributary, Val d'Arol . Viviers-lès-Offroicourt is surrounded by the neighboring communities Offroicourt in the northeast, Estrennes in the southeast, Domjulien in the southwest and Gemmelaincourt in the northwest. The striking hill of the 364 m high Haut de Beaumont rises up between Viviers and the neighboring municipality of Offroicourt, the slopes of which are covered with vines and fruit trees.
The small community has retained its rural character. Even the mayor's office ( Mairie ) is almost wedged between a cattle shed and a shelter for agricultural equipment.
Population development
The population of the small community has remained at a very low level since the end of the 20th century. In 1846 there were still 259 residents.

Economy and Infrastructure
There are two farms in the commune of Viviers-lès-Offroicourt (cattle, sheep and goat farming).
Three kilometers north of Viviers-lès-Offroicourt, the D 166 trunk road, which is partially expanded to two lanes, runs from Neufchâteau to Mirecourt . In La Neuveville-sous-Châtenois , 18 kilometers away, there is a connection to the A 31 autoroute . The closest train station is also in the nearby small town of Mirecourt.
