Avranville is a French commune in the Vosges department in the region of Grand Est (before 2016 Lorraine ). It belongs to the Neufchâteau and the canton of Neufchâteau (until 2015 Coussey ). The municipality belongs to the catchment area of the Marne .
The neighboring municipalities are Dainville-Bertheléville in the northwest and north, Vaudeville-le-Haut in the northeast, Chermisey in the east, Midrevaux in the south and Grand in the southwest. The residents call themselves Avranvillois (es).
