Remoncourt is a commune in the French department of Vosges in the region of Grand Est (before 2016 Lorraine ). It belongs to the canton of Vittel and the arrondissement of Neufchâteau . It is bordered by Domjulien to the northwest , Estrennes to the north, Domèvre-sous-Montfort to the northeast, Rozerotte to the east, Valfroicourt to the southeast, Esley and Monthureux-le-Sec to the south, Haréville to the southwest and Haréville to the west La Neuveville-sous-Montfort . The residents call themselves Remoncourtois (es). Remoncourt station was on the Merrey – Hymont-Mattaincourt railway .
