Sartes is a commune in the French department of Vosges in the Grand Est region (before 2016 Lorraine ), at 310 meters above sea level . It belongs to the canton of Neufchâteau in the arrondissement of the same name . Neighboring municipalities are Pompierre in the north, Jainvillotte in the east, Gendreville and Outremécourt in the southeast, Sommerécourt in the south, Bourmont-entre-Meuse-et-Mouzon with Goncourt in the southwest and Harréville-les-Chanteurs in the west.
