Bourmont-entre-Meuse-et-Mouzon is a French commune with 803 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Marne department in the Grand Est region . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Chaumont and the canton of Poissons .
It was created as Commune nouvelle with effect from June 1, 2016 through the amalgamation of the previous municipalities Bourmont and Nijon , which have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are in Bourmont.
With effect from January 1, 2019, the commune nouvelle was expanded to include the former commune Goncourt , which has also received the status of a commune déléguée.

geography
The municipality is located around 35 kilometers northeast of Chaumont on a ridge between the rivers Meuse and Mouzon . The Meuse runs in the western municipality, the Mouzon in the east, just outside the municipality. Neighboring municipalities are Saint-Thiébault in the north-west, Illoud and Chalvraines in the north, Sommerécourt and Vaudrecourt in the north-east, Soulaucourt-sur-Mouzon in the east, Graffigny-Chemin in the south-east, Brainville-sur-Meuse in the south and Bourg-Sainte-Marie in the south-west.
