Hâcourt is a French commune with 39 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Marne department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Champagne-Ardenne ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement Chaumont and the municipality association Meuse Rognon, founded in 2017 .

geography

The municipality of Hâcourt is located in the Bassigny region on the upper Meuse , about 26 kilometers south-southwest of Neufchâteau and 35 kilometers west of Vittel . The municipal area, which is just under three square kilometers, consists of an elongated mountain slope from the right bank of the Meuse at about 310 meters above sea level in the west to the plateau-like 486 m high summit of the Côte Sainte-Anne in the east. With the exception of steep slopes and remains of alluvial forest on the banks of the Maas and Ruisseau de Malaincourt , the landscape in the municipality is characterized by fields and pastures. Hâcourt is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Brainville-sur-Meuse in the north-east, Malaincourt-sur-Meuse in the south-east, Doncourt-sur-Meuse in the south, Huilliécourt in the south-west and Bourg-Sainte-Marie in the west and north-west.
