Economy and Infrastructure
Daillancourt has retained its rural character. There are four farms in the commune (one grain producer, three cattle breeders). In the commune, wine is cultivated on two slopes sloping to the southeast ( Vignes aux Chiens and Sur les Valottes ). The wines are protected under the designation of origin "Haute Marne", but not part of the Champagne wine-growing region (terroir non classé) , so that no grapes may be used to make champagne .
The municipality of Daillancourt is accessed by the connecting road D2, which follows the Blaise valley and leads from Charmes-en-l'Angle to Colombey les Deux Églises . The nearest local transport hub is the town of Bar-sur-Aube, 28 kilometers away . Trains on the Paris – Mulhouse line stop here . In Vignory , 14 kilometers to the east, there is a connection to the route nationale 67 from Chaumont to Saint-Dizier, which is partially developed like a motorway .
