Arc-en-Barrois is a French commune with 743 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Marne department in the Grand Est region ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Chaumont and the canton of Châteauvillain (until 2015: canton of Arc-en-Barrois ).

Arc-en-Barrois is located about 20 kilometers south-southeast of Chaumont on the banks of the Aujon river . Arc-en-Barrois is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Cour-l'Évêque in the north, Richebourg in the northeast, Bugnières in the east, Giey-sur-Aujon in the south and Aubepierre-sur-Aube in the west and southwest.
