Orges is a French commune with 354 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Marne department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Champagne-Ardenne ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement Chaumont and the Trois Forêts municipal association, founded in 2003 .

Orges lies on the edge of the Bassigny countryside , about 17 kilometers west-southwest of Chaumont . Orges is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Braux-le-Châtel in the north, Bricon in the east and northeast, Blessonville in the east and southeast, Châteauvillain in the south, Pont-la-Ville in the west and Cirfontaines-en-Azois and Aizanville in the northwest.
