Breuvannes-en-Bassigny is a French commune with 678 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Marne department in the Grand Est region (before 2016 Champagne-Ardenne ); it belongs to the Arrondissement of Chaumont and the canton of Poissons ( Clefmont until 2015 ). The inhabitants are called Breuvannais .
The municipality consists of the localities of Breuvannes , Colombey-lès-Choiseul and Meuvy .
geography
Breuvannes-en-Bassigny is located in the Bassigny countryside , around 30 kilometers east of the city of Chaumont in the east of the Haute-Marne department. The upper Meuse and its tributary Flambart flows through the municipality . Breuvannes-en-Bassigny is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Audeloncourt in the north and north-west, Levécourt , Champigneulles-en-Bassigny and Germainvilliers in the north, Damblain in the east, Romain-aux-Bois in the east and south-east, Parnot in the south and south-east, Montigny- le-Roi , Merrey , Choiseul and Bassoncourt in the south, Daillecourt in the southwest and Clefmont in the west.
The A31 autoroute runs through the municipality .
