Vesaignes-sous-Lafauche is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Orquevaux in the north and north-west, Aillianville in the north-east, Prez-sous-Lafauche in the east, Semilly in the south and Saint-Blin in the west and south-west.
The former route nationale 65 (now D674) runs through the municipality .
