It belongs to the Arrondissement of Chaumont and the Trois Forêts community association founded in 2003 . The inhabitants are called Vaudrémontais .

Vaudrémont is on the edge of the Bassigny countryside , about 19 kilometers west-northwest of Chaumont . Vaudrémont is surrounded by the neighboring communities Lavilleneuve-au-Roi in the north, Autreville-sur-la-Renne in the east, Braux-le-Châtel in the south and south-east, Aizanville in the south and south-west and Maranville in the west and north-west.
