The settlement of Curmont is located west of the Blaise around 65 kilometers east of Troyes in the west of the Haute-Marne department.

history
The parish belonged to the Chaumont district from 1793 to 1801. Since 1801 it has been part of the Chaumont arrondissement. From 1793 to 1801, Curmont was a municipality in the canton of Blaise and from 1801 to 2015 it was part of the canton of Juzennecourt .
