Rangecourt is located around 27 kilometers east-southeast of the city of Chaumont in the east of the Haute-Marne department.

history

The mechanization of agriculture led to heavy emigration in the late 19th and 20th centuries. Rangecourt was part of the Bailliage de Chaumont within the royal province of Champagne . The place belonged from 1793 to 1801 to the District Bourmont. Also from 1793 to 1801 to the canton of Meuvy and from 1801 to 2015 to the canton Clefmont .
