Bricon is a French commune with 449 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Marne department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Champagne-Ardenne ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement Chaumont and the Trois Forêts municipal association, founded in 2003 . The inhabitants are called Briconnais .

geography

Bricon is on the edge of the Bassigny countryside , about twelve kilometers west-southwest of Chaumont . Bricon is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Autreville-sur-la-Renne in the north, Buxières-lès-Villiers in the east and north-east, Semoutiers-Montsaon in the east and south-east, Blessonville in the south, Orges in the west and south-west and Braux-le-Châtel in the Northwest.
