Autreville-sur-la-Renne is a French commune with 382 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Marne department in the Grand Est region . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Chaumont and the canton of Châteauvillain . The inhabitants are called Autrevillois (es) .

All three districts of Autreville-sur-la-Renne are on the Renne River . Autreville-sur-la-Renne is located around 70 kilometers east-southeast of Troyes and 12 kilometers west of the small town of Chaumont in the west of the Haute-Marne department.
Transport links
The community is slightly off the national traffic routes. A few kilometers south of the municipality, the A5 car route passes. The closest connection is in Sermoutiers-Montsaon. Via the D101 and the D65, after a few kilometers, you reach Route nationale 67, which runs past Chaumont to the east .
history
The municipality of Altre Millana in Pago Ramense was first mentioned as early as the 9th century . In the Middle Ages several noble families took over the administration of the place. The Johanniter also had property in Autreville-sur-la-Renne. In 1854 a cholera epidemic raged, killing many. The parish belonged to the Chaumont district from 1793 to 1801. Since 1801 it has been part of the Chaumont arrondissement. From 1793 to 1801 Autreville-sur-la-Renne and Valdelancourt were communes in the canton of Bricon, Lavilleneuve-au-Roi and Saint-Martin-sur-la-Renne communes in the canton of Juzennecourt. From 1801 to 2015 all parts of the municipality belonged to the canton of Juzennecourt . In 1972 the previously independent communes of Lavilleneuve-au-Roi, Saint-Martin-sur-la-Renne and Valdelancourt came to the commune of Autreville-sur-la-Renne. On January 1st, 2012 Lavilleneuve-au-Roi became independent again.
