Guy Armand Romano CSsR (born July 11, 1937 in Arc-en-Barrois ) is former bishop of Niamey .

Life

Guy Armand Romano joined the Congregation of the Redemptorists in and received on 4 October 1959, the priestly ordination . Pope John Paul II appointed him Apostolic Administrator of Niamey and Titular Bishop of Caput Cilla on June 25, 1984 .

The Archbishop of Ouagadougou , Cardinal Paul Zoungrana MAfr , ordained him episcopal on September 30th of the same year ; Co - consecrators were Isidore de Souza , Coadjutor Archbishop of Cotonou , and Marie-Jean-Baptiste-Hippolyte Berlier CSsR, Bishop Emeritus of Niamey.

On March 3, 1997, he was appointed Bishop of Niamey. He resigned from his office on October 18, 2003.
