The operator and owner is the Argyll and Bute Council. Highland Airways , which was originally the route to Oban have operated, went bankrupt in 2010, but there was a new operator, Hebridean Air Services now operates the route under a PSO (public service obligation; interpreting. : Public service obligations) with flights to Oban and Tiree with Britten-Norman Islander aircraft.
