Hebridean Air Services is a Scottish airline based at Inverness Airport in the Highland Council Area .

history

Founded in 1995, the company initially offered various types of private air transport services using light aircraft , including charter and rescue flights . After Highland Airways went bankrupt in the spring of 2010, Hebridean took over their scheduled flights in the Council Area Argyll and Bute and expanded the offer.

In summer 2016, Hebridean was taken over by the Airtask Group based at Inverness Airport and has been operating as its subsidiary ever since.

The airline's primary base is Oban Airport , from where scheduled flights are operated. Charter services are also offered to over 40 airports and airfields in Scotland.
