Eastern Airways is a British regional airline based in Kirmington , North Lincolnshire , and based at Humberside Airport there .
history
Eastern Airways started a scheduled service between Humberside Airport and Aberdeen in 1997 . Two years later, she took over Air Kilroe from Manchester .
From British Airways CitiExpress 2003 their routes and were BAe Jetstream 41 adopted. In 2006 she took over the connection from Cardiff to Newcastle upon Tyne from Air Wales . The connections to Brussels and from Newcastle to London City Airport were given up again at short notice. Connections were then started from Durham Tees Valley Airport to Brussels and from Aberdeen to Stavanger .
In September 2010, Eastern Airways took over Air Southwest , another British regional airline with which a cooperation had previously been agreed, following official approval . Air Southwest, under the leadership of Eastern Airways, ceased operations at the end of September 2011 for economic reasons.
Brian Haxford and Richard Lake each own 50% of the company.
Destinations
In addition to numerous British destinations, Dublin has been served as international destinations since March 9, 2020 and Alicante from July 11, 2020 . Charter flights are also offered.

Former aircraft types
Incidents
- On September 17, 2013, a BA Jetstream 31 ( registration G-EEST) with four passengers and three crew members had an accident landing at Wick Airport , and the aircraft had to be written off.
