InterCaribbean Airways , originally Interisland Airways Charter Services and then until September 2013 Air Turks and Caicos , is an airline on the Turks and Caicos Islands with headquarters in Providenciales and based at Providenciales Airport .
Destinations
Air Turks and Caicos operates national and international scheduled flights in the Caribbean from Providenciales . International flights include Kingston , Nassau and Port-au-Prince . On the Turks and Caicos Islands, the islands of Grand Turk Island , South Caicos and Salt Cay are served.

Incidents
- On the evening of February 6, 2007, an airline's Beechcraft 200C Super King Air crashed into the shallow water of the lagoon about two kilometers east of the airport, immediately after taking off from North Caicos Airport . The pilot was fatally injured in the accident; four of the five passengers suffered serious injuries and one passenger suffered minor injuries. The cause of the crash was probably a flight error by the pilot due to an impairment of his spatial orientation due to darkness and possibly also alcohol consumption .
