Flumorph is a mixture of two isomeric chemical compounds [( EZ ) mixture with a mixing ratio of about 1: 1] from the group of morpholines and an active ingredient for crop protection. Flumorph was developed in 1994 at the SYRICI research institute in China in response to the widespread resistance of phenylamide fungicides . Apart from the fluorine atom, it has the same structure as dimethomorph .

use

Downy mildew on a cucumber, typical mosaic image on the top of the leaf

Flumorph is used as a systemic fungicide to control downy mildew and Phytophthora v. A. used in vegetable growing and viticulture. It is not effective against Pythium . Flumorph is one of the CAA fungicides, whose effect is based on the inhibition of cellulose synthase.

Admission

Flumorph is not approved as a plant protection agent in the European Union or Switzerland .
