Fouke is a city in Miller County in the US state of Arkansas . In 2000, almost 870 people lived in an area of ​​2.7 square kilometers.

Fouke is part of the Ark-La-Tex socio-economic region , which includes parts of the states of Arkansas, Louisiana , Oklahoma, and Texas .

Demographics

The 2000 census showed a population of 859 people in Fouke. These were divided between 291 households and 220 families. There were around 300 people per square kilometer. 95.5% of the population were white, 2.5% Native American, 1.7% Hispanic or Latin American, and 0.3% black. 0.6% of the population were of another race, 1.2% had two or more ethnicities.
