During this time he wrote his first two operas, which were performed in Venice, as well as a funeral music for the death of Duke Antonio Farnese and the oratorio Santa Clotilde (Parma, 1733). Corselli's life's work comprises more than 400 sacred compositions, most of which were created after the entire church music of the Capilla Real was destroyed in the fire of the royal palace in 1734. Corselli was commissioned to replace the lost music for liturgical use. He also composed several operas and cantatas , Villancicos and some sonatas for violin and B. c. and Concertini a quattro. His style is based on the Neapolitan school of Francesco Durante and Giovanni Battista Pergolesi . In contrast to the Zarzuelas of his colleagues at the Spanish court, Francesco Corradini (around 1700–1769) and José de Nebra , Corselli's stage works are based on Italian libretti, most of which came from Pietro Metastasio .
