Francisco Barroso Filho

Francisco Barroso Filho (born October 8, 1928 in Ouro Preto , Minas Gerais ) is a Brazilian clergyman and Roman Catholic former bishop of Oliveira .

Life

Francisco Barroso Filho was ordained a priest on December 1, 1957 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Oliveira on December 21, 1983 . The Archbishop of Mariana , Oscar de Oliveira , donated him episcopal ordination on March 19 of the next year . Co- consecrators were Geraldo Majela Reis , Archbishop of Diamantina , and José Lázaro Neves CM , Bishop Emeritus of Assis .

On October 20, 2004, Pope John Paul II accepted his age-related resignation.
