Franck de Almeida
Franck de Almeida ( Franck Caldeira de Almeida; born February 6, 1983 in Sete Lagoas ) is a Brazilian marathon runner .
In 2004 he won the São Paulo marathon . After he did not finish at the World Half Marathon Championships in New Delhi , he won the Praia Grande Half Marathon.
In 2006 he finished fourth in the Milan Marathon and won the Corrida Internacional de São Silvestre . The following year he triumphed in the Marathon of the Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro .
In 2008 he came 18th in the Paris Marathon . At the marathon of the Olympic Games in Beijing he gave up, at the Half Marathon World Championships in Rio de Janeiro he finished 28th.
In 2009 he finished second in the São Paulo Marathon and was 79th at the Half Marathon World Championships in Birmingham .
In 2012 he qualified with a sixth place in the Milan Marathon for the Olympic Games in London , in which he came in 13th place.
In 2014 he finished second at the Maratona di Sant'Antonio . He did not finish at the 2015 Pan American Games marathon in Toronto.
