Maratona di Sant'Antonio

The Maratona di Sant'Antonio ( Maratona S. Antonio for short ) is a marathon that has been held in April between Vedelago and Padua since 2000 . It is organized by the Assindustria Sport Padova and replaced the Vedelago marathon , which was organized from 1988 to 1999 by the Gruppo Atletica Vedelago in the municipality of the same name.

The course follows the last voyage of Saint Anthony of Padua and starts in Vedelago. First it goes west to Castelfranco . There you turn south and via Resana you reach Loreggia , where you change to the Statale del Santo (identical to the state road 307). Follow this through Camposampiero , San Giorgio delle Pertiche , Campodarsego and Cadoneghe to the center of Padua, where the finish is on the Prato della Valle . The route is gently sloping with a gradient of a good 30 meters between start and finish.
