Career
In summer 2003, Paulus moved from Dynamo Dresden to Alemannia Aachen , where he had his most successful time as a professional. In the following season Alemannia Aachen played by moving into the finals in Berlin in the UEFA Cup . Frank Paulus played all games, opponents were Sevilla FC , Lille OSC , Zenit Saint Petersburg , AEK Athens and AZ Alkmaar .
In 2005, Paulus moved to Holstein Kiel , who played in the regional soccer league , the third-highest soccer league in Germany at the time. He played in Kiel for two years before joining the top division club SC Borea Dresden . Due to financial problems at Borea Dresden, the Saxon Football Association agreed to Frank Paulus moving to BSG Chemie Leipzig outside the transfer period. In the summer of 2012, Paulus moved to VfL Pirna-Copitz . Since March 2018 he has been the coach in charge of the first men's team at VfL Pirna-Copitz.
