Frank R. Martin

Frank R. Martin (born October 1879 in Toledo , Lucas County , Ohio , † September 17, 1959 ) was an American politician ( Democratic Party ).

Life

In 1932, Martin participated in the primary for the Democratic candidate in the congressional election in the first constituency of Indiana, but was subject to William T. Schulte . From 1935 to 1942 he served two terms as Mayor of Hammond , Indiana . He was then Treasurer of Lake County . After several years in this office, he retired from politics in 1946. In 1950 he settled in Saint Petersburg , Florida . In September 1956, he became campaign manager for the Pinellas County's Democratic Party .
