Frank Seifert

Frank Seifert (born October 2, 1972 in Dresden ) is a former German football player .

Seifert came to Dynamo Dresden in 1986 from FSV Lokomotive Dresden . He competed for the GDR at the U-16 World Cup in 1989 . After the fall of the Berlin Wall, Frank Seifert went to VfB Stuttgart . With the Swabians Seifert won the German A-Junior Championship in 1990/91 . In 1992 he joined the Chemnitzer FC . After he completed ten appearances in the 2nd Bundesliga for CFC in the 1994/95 season and scored one goal, Frank Seifert switched to Energie Cottbus . In the 1996/97 season Seifert rose to the 2nd Bundesliga with Cottbus and also reached the final against VfB Stuttgart in the 1996/97 DFB Cup , in which he lost 2-0 to his former club with energy. After eight season appearances and one goal for Energie Cottbus in the second division season 1997/98 Seifert joined VfB Leipzig . In the summer of 2000 he went to FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt . Two years later he moved to Dresdner SC . From 2003 to 2006 Frank Seifert played for SG Blau-Gelb Laubsdorf . He then worked for FV Dresden 06 for two years . In the 2008/09 season Seifert played for SC Borea Dresden and ended his career at the end of the season.
