Frank Sieren

Frank Sieren (* 1967 in Saarbrücken ) is a German journalist , correspondent , documentary filmmaker and author .

Life

Sieren studied political science with a focus on economics at the University of Trier and in Berlin . He has lived and worked in Beijing since 1994 and has made a name for himself through reporting on the People's Republic of China and the political and economic developments there. Some of the books he has published to date deal with the global expansion of the Chinese economy and its impact on other economies. He wrote his last book so far together with Andreas Sieren .

Sieren worked for German newspapers such as the Süddeutsche Zeitung and magazines such as Die Zeit and Der Spiegel , the Handelsblatt and Deutsche Welle .
