Franz Andrä von Orsini-Rosenberg

Franz Andrä von Orsini-Rosenberg (born April 5, 1653 in Klagenfurt ; † March 28, 1698 ibid; complete (from 1684): Franciscus Andreas Reichsgraf von Orsini and Rosenberg, baron of Lerchenau and Grafenstein ) was a Carinthian nobleman from the Orsini family -Rosenberg . From 1686 until his death in 1698 he held the office of the Carinthian provincial governor and was also Erblandhofmeister in Carinthia.

Life

Franz Andrä began a career as an embassy attaché at various courts of the Holy Roman Empire after completing his studies and the obligatory cavalier tour abroad . He initially received the title of Imperial Court Councilor . In 1685 he was appointed governor at the suggestion of the estates and in 1686 he was appointed to office. In 1693 he was promoted to the real secret council.

Orsini-Rosenberg married Amalie Theodora Countess of Löwenstein in 1682 . He had the following children with her:

  • Ernestine (1683-1728)
  • Maria Anna (1687–1747)
  • Carolina (1688)
  • Johann Franz (1690)
  • Teresia (1693)
  • Johann Carl (1695–1718), with him the middle line of the Orsini-Rosenberg died out.
