Franz Innerkofler
Franz Innerkofler (born January 6, 1834 in Sexten ; † June 21, 1898 there ) was a Tyrolean chamois hunter and mountain guide .
As one of the first locals, Franz Innerkofler became interested in mountaineering and thus became a popular guide for foreign guests. He was particularly known for his development work in the Sesto Dolomites , where he was able to carry out several first ascents , mainly with the Viennese alpinist Paul Grohmann . Among other things, he made the first ascent of the Dreischusterspitze , the Langkofel and the Großer Zinne (all in 1869) and the Paternkofel (1882).
