Franz Josef Krings
Franz Josef Krings (* 1886 ; † 1968 ) was a German architect and sculptor who worked particularly in his hometown of Königswinter .
Life
Krings contributed drafts to the artistic design of the emergency money vouchers issued by the local tourist office from 1921 due to the hyperinflation after the First World War . In 1925, as the head of a festival committee of the local associations, he organized the local parade to celebrate the millennium of the Rhineland . Krings worked as a board member and art warden in the “ Working Group for the Care of Homeland ” (today “Heimatverein Siebengebirge eV”) founded by the initiators of this celebration .
