Baron Franz Philipp Fenner von Fenneberg (born July 10, 1759 in Salurn , Tyrol , today South Tyrol , † October 19, 1824 Jaroslau / Jarosław , Galicia ) was a field marshal lieutenant in the Austrian army. In some sources the year of birth is given as 1762. The actual place of birth was on the Fennberg , which at that time belonged to Salurn and is now in the municipality of Margreid .

Fenner von Fenneberg joined the army in 1777 and fought in various European theaters of war. As a major general in 1809 he distinguished himself in the defense of Tyrol during the Fifth Coalition War . On November 8, 1814, he received the Knight's Cross of the Maria Theresa Order for his services in the fight against the French . The Tyrolean Jägerregiment, which was dissolved in 1815, was initially to be re-established as the "Tiroler Fenner-Jäger", but in 1816 was given the name Tyrolean Kaiserjäger .

Fenner von Fennberg died as a division general in Galicia in 1824 .
