Franzenreith is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Randegg in the Scheibbs district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 102 building areas with 54,577 m² and 14 gardens on 38,551 m² in the cadastral community of Franzenreith , in 1989/1990 there were 100 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had increased to 177 and in 2009/2010 there were 156 buildings on 222 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 821 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 354 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 736 hectares and 431 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 707 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 426 hectares. Franzenreith's average soil climate number is 19.5 (as of 2010).
