Steinholz is a village and a cadastral municipality in the Randegg municipality in the Scheibbs district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there was a total of 91 building areas with 21,529 m² and 33 gardens on 80,566 m² in the cadastral community of Steinholz , in 1989/1990 there were 87 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 175 and in 2009/2010 there were 121 buildings on 167 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 510 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of 1979/1980 and 187 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 470 hectares and 225 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 456 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 223 hectares. The average soil climate number of stone wood is 19.5 (as of 2010).
