Second Mesa is a census-designated place in the north of the US state of Arizona in Navajo County . The place has 814 inhabitants on an area of ​​68.5 km². Second Mesa is entirely on the Navajo Nation Reservation . The population is spread over three Hopi Indian villages. They are located on a table mountain (mesa) and are called Musungnuvi (also Mishongnovi), Supawlavi (also Sipaulovi) and Songoopavi (also Shungopavi). Other districts are Old Shongopavi and Shipolovi .
