content
On the island of Lesbos , a tribe of Amazons leads a cruel regiment: The women, under the leadership of Antiope, capture all fertile men of whom they can get hold. After a night together, the men are killed; the women who fall in love are cruelly punished. With the help of crooks, a badly affected village is able to put an end to the hustle and bustle.

- The Dizionario del cinema italiano quotes a contemporary criticism from the Gazzetta del Mezzogiorno : “Allegedly wild rituals and expectable and inevitable erotic tableaus are cranked down by the director in an undemanding way. The representation corresponds to the staging. "
