The Frauengraben is a kilometer long right and northern tributary of the Main in Lower Franconia .

The Frauengraben rises in the Haßfurt Main Valley at an altitude of about 297  m above sea level. NN a good half a kilometer north of the Ottendorf part of the municipality of Gädheim . The source is located in an agricultural zone within the district of Waldsachsen, which belongs to the municipality of Schonungen, about 50 m north of the municipality boundary between Schonungen and Gädheim.

It first flows about 150 m through the Waldsachsen district, then passes the municipal boundary to Gädheim and then runs almost southwards through fields and is accompanied by thick wood. Almost half a kilometer down the stream it reaches the outskirts of Ottendorf and then runs west of the street Am Frauengraben along the eastern edge of the village.

It still crosses under Bahnhofsstraße , then the B 26 and the tracks of the Bamberg – Rottendorf railway line and finally flows south-west of Ottendorf at approximately Main km 344.3 at an altitude of 208  m above sea level. NN from the right and north into the Main.
